The Bulldogs also have a commitment from the nation’s No. 2 safety prospect, Richard LeCounte III of Riceboro, Ga.

Bishop, a 6-3, 195-pounder from Dawson, Ga., is rated the No. 4 athlete prospect and No. 149 overall according to 247Sports.com.

The Bulldogs have one signee – Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College offensive tackle D’Marcus Hayes – for 2017 and 21 commitments. Of those 21 commitments, nine are ranked among the top 100 nationally by 247Sports.com, and 15 are among the top 150.
