The Hamilton County Commission voted Tuesday to table a motion that would have authorized $500,000 in bond funds to replace the track at Central High School.
The 5-4 vote came as some commissioners expressed hesitation about which school maintenance projects are funded by the County Commission.
School board chairman Steve Highlander said he hopes the board will work during an upcoming strategic planning session to prioritize school spending needs.
