The city of Chickamauga, Ga., and downtown merchants announce Eric & Eric will headline the First Friday concert on Friday, July 7, with a new start time and longer hours for the popular free block party.
Gordon Street in Chickamauga will close to traffic at 6 p.m. before the show begins at 7 p.m., continuing until 10 p.m. Concertgoers can play outdoor games or bring their own, in addition to bringing their own chair. Merchants will stay open later and will sponsor giveaways throughout the night.
Eric & Eric is the duo of Eric Germany and Eric Shelton, an entertaining acoustic collaboration with musical influences from Hank Williams Jr. to Green Day.
