“Walk in My Shoes” by W. Michael Bush is part of “Mirror on America – Part 2: Reflective Conversations,” which opens at Area 61 gallery, 61 E. Main St., with a reception Friday, July 7, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Bush says this collection continues the dialogue from last summer’s series that focused on society and some of its ills.
“The hope is that, with honesty of introspection, we will begin (again) to see our fellow citizens with more humane eyes, with unity and community. This collection is designed to stimulate conversation, not argument, and to encourage soul-searching as to how we might help each other through this journey called life.”
