UPDATE: Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office traffic investigators have released additional details in regards to the fatal accident on Highway 134.
Preliminary results indicate that a male individual on a motorcycle traveling east on Highway 134 tried to negotiate a left hand curve and went off the right side of the road traveling down a steep embankment.
At this time, it has yet to be determined when the accident occurred.
The accident was found earlier this morning.
The name of the individual will be released once successful notification of next-of-kin has been properly made.

ORIGINAL STORY: One person was killed this morning in a motorcycle crash on Highway 134.
Hamilton County sheriff deputies responded to the scene at 10:30 a.m., but it is unclear when the crash occurred, according to a new release.
A portion of Highway 134 from the 600 block coming from Marion County to Dade County, Ga., has been temporarily closed as traffic investigators work the scene.
Highway 134 runs through Marion County into Georgia with a small portion that falls within Hamilton County that is patrolled by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s department said more information will be released as it becomes available.
