What: The Chattanooga Theatre Centre held its annual Star-Spangled Supper on July 3 at the theater in conjunction with the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera’s Pops on the River concert. About 150 guests enjoyed barbecue from Sugar’s Ribs, ice cream from Clumpies Ice Cream Co. and beverages in the CTC’s lobby before setting up folding chairs outdoors to listen to the CSO concert and enjoy the fireworks finale. The dinner was an opportunity for guests to meet the theater’s new executive director, Todd Olson.
Benefits: The fundraiser, organized by Sonia Young, benefits the theater’s operational expenses.
