A flood warning and flash flood watches are in effect until Tuesday in the greater Chattanooga area. Rain tonight and early Tuesday may cause some flooding problems especially in north Georgia.
A flood warning has been issued for Whitfield County in Georgia.
A flash flood watch has been issued for these area counties: Bradley, Hamilton, Marion, Polk and Sequatchie in Tennessee; Catoosa, Dade, Murray, Walker and Whitfield in Georgia; and Cherokee in North Carolina.
