More than 70 agents in red T-shirts from the Keller Williams East Brainerd and Hixson offices teamed up with Habitat for Humanity and Glass House Collective to put time and sweat equity into the East Chattanooga area.
Agent Melodye Zimmerman with Keller Williams worked closely with the other organizations and agents and spent Red Day cleaning gutters, mowing yards, trimming shrubs and working at the Re-Store.
"These agents firmly believe in giving back to their community and are already pledging their money to build a home this fall through Habitat," said team leader Jay Craig. This year Lakeside Title and HSA Home Warranty provided breakfast and lunch.
Everyone benefits when individuals work together to make our communities look better. It doesn't take money; it just takes physical work and dedication.
