Theater closed-minded in ‘Beauty’ decision
You could say that a theme of “Beauty and the Beast” is that no matter what, anyone can love and be deserving of love or that love can change a person.
It’s ironic that the Henegar (Ala.) Drive-In Theatre is showing just how upstanding and Christian it can be in its decision not to show the film. Thank goodness it is protecting our children from anything resembling free thought, inclusion, tolerance, expanded world views or personal responsibility.
I would have to wonder how many children would notice a three-second scene in a 90-minute movie, and even if they did, would that have even meant anything to them?
