Earlier this month, an angel came to my rescue. The Lord was watching over me and sent a sweet young gentleman to help me. In today’s world that rarely happens, and I am so grateful for his kindness.

I recently had foot surgery and found it difficult using a cane, especially with a handbag and book. I went to Panera Bread as a treat. The line to order was pretty long and getting longer. My angel was the next person in line, and he insisted I go next. After ordering, he volunteered to take my pager and bring my food to my table. He asked if he could do anything else and took his order to go.

I really don’t know how I would have managed without his help. I want everyone who reads this to know there are angels on earth as well as in heaven, and I met the sweetest one.

Thank you again, and I will pass it on.
