Democrats’ bad will is bad for country
Our constitutional system of government is the best. In a single generation, the United States rose from a humble beginning to being a world power. But now the “resist” movement of the Democrats has sabotaged it with its overwhelming bad will.
“There is one thing the worst governing systems and the best have in common: Both will work with enough good will, and neither will work without enough good will” (thought to be attributed to Peter Drucker, “The Father of Modern Management”). The Democrats demand bad will!
For example, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi was shouted down by her own Democrats for even meeting with Trump. The Democrats have now browbeaten Pelosi to tell Trump: “My way or take the highway.”
This closes the door to any bipartisan agreement on cutting taxes or any other of Trump’s campaign promises the people elected him to do.

Clinton hypocrite on Weinstein talk
I was surprised to see Hillary Clinton on a talk show talking about how upset she was about Weinstein. She of all people should shut her mouth when she did nothing when her husband did what he did.
All Washington has are a bunch of big mouths to shoot off their mouths, but when it comes to passing something to help us people they don’t do anything. They get paid for what?
And Corker, zip your lip and let Trump do his job. He got a mess when elected.

Clinton wasn’t unfit, incompetent
I read Terry Mattingly’s column, “On Religion,” last weekend and sighed. In it, he discussed evangelical conservatives who didn’t vote for Trump but voted against Hillary Clinton.
It seems to me that if we end up in World War III, as Sen. Corker has suggested, it won’t matter that those votes were “against Hillary.” The votes did, in fact, go to Trump and put this lunatic in the White House.
I get it. Hillary gave voters plenty of reasons not to vote for her. But I have yet to hear any lawmaker or pundit describe her as unstable, incompetent or mentally unfit for the presidency, as several (even conservatives) have described Trump.
To voters who didn’t vote for Trump, but voted against Hillary, I would say this: Motivation doesn’t matter. Your vote went to Trump. Own it.

‘Loser’ shouldn’t be on courthouse lawn
I did research on Confederate Lt. Gen. Alexander P. Stewart. His corps was on the losing side in battle after battle in the Civil War. It got its butt kicked in Tennessee twice, got shipped to command in North Carolina and got beat up again.
In my book, that makes him a loser. County Commissioners Chester Bankston, Jim Fields, Joe Graham, Randy Fairbanks, Greg Martin and Tim Boyd should have personally yanked that losing symbol down from the public court grounds and stuck it in the basement of a museum, or better yet, since they love it so much, put in their backyards. Or If they have a trophy room, stick it next to their rebel flags.
Also note: Since European settlers came to the country, persecution, rapes and murders have persisted (Native Americans killed, blacks hung and immigrants deported).
A family member said, “Racism won’t never stop.” I am inclined to agree.
