Weird Al Yankovic and Phillip Phillips have sold-out, back-to-back shows in Walker Theatre on April 13 and April 14, respectively.
Phillips, winner of Season 11 of “American Idol,” is touring in support of his new album, “Collateral,” released in January.
Yankovic has a current YouTube hit with his “Hamilton” parody, “The Hamilton Polka.” The lyric video has gotten 18 million views since its release March 1.
Yankovic was on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” last month to talk about “The Hamilton Polka” and his tour, “The Ridiculously Self-Indulgent, Ill-Advised Vanity Tour.” He said it is so named because the show isn’t the songs everyone expects, but “the B-sides, the obscure songs” that are some of his favorites.
“These are the songs that the die-hard fans know and request,” he told Fallon.
