Alabama picked up its 10th football commitment for the 2019 signing class Sunday afternoon, receiving a nonbinding pledge from offensive tackle Tanner Bowles of Glasgow, Ky.

The four-star prospect is the nation’s No. 28 tackle and No. 287 overall recruit, according to 247Sports.com’s rankings. The 6-foot-5, 280-pound Bowles took an unofficial visit to Tuscaloosa for Saturday’s A-Day spring game and committed to the Crimson Tide over scholarship offers from Florida State, Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, Oklahoma and Penn State.

The Tide’s 2019 class is currently No. 1 in the 247Sports team rankings, a position they occupied seven consecutive years from 2011 to 2017. Alabama finished sixth in the 2018 class, with Georgia, Ohio State, Texas, Southern California and Penn State the top five.

Alabama’s 2019 commitments include nine four-star prospects and one five-star recruit: offensive tackle Pierce Quick of Trussville, Ala.
