A man was shot and seriously injured in DeKalb County, Alabama, Saturday morning.
George Allen Murphy, 45, was standing on his neighbor's front porch when he was shot once in the head, according to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office.
The front door was closed, and the person who fired the shot was a juvenile.
Murphy is still hospitalized at this time.
"While the case appears to be accidental at this point the case is still under investigation," a news release stated.
