Chattanooga police say a man was injured early Tuesday after he was shot in the leg during an attempted robbery.
Responding to a call at 1:15 a.m., police arrived at the 100 block of Signal Hills Drive and found a man lying in the road with a gunshot wound.
He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury.
The investigation is ongoing.
