Synovus puts its mark on Chattanooga

Synovus Bank put its mark on Chattanooga as business leaders gathered to celebrate the name change from Cohutta Bank. Synovus, Georgia’s second biggest bank, bought Cohutta Banking Co. in 1984 and expanded into Chattanooga in 2006 by chartering a Tennessee branch which was later merged with Cohutta Bank in Georgia and then Synovus Bank.

YPAC celebrates Southern Soirée

The Young Professionals Association of Chattanooga hosted its annual signature event, the Southern Soiree, in November at the Waterhouse Pavilion in Miller Plaza. Local food and music were featured at the fundraising event, which supports YPAC’s yearly programming initiatives.
