The Dalton Police Department is searching for a man who is missing, according to a news release.
Ronald Lee Yerty, 69, was reported missing by his family in December. The family believes he may have traveled to Nashville recently.
The family reported they had not had contact with him in several days and that he had gone missing for different periods of time before.
Yerty does not have a cell phone. He was released from Hamilton Medical Center earlier in December and told his family at that time that he would not be returning home, according to the release.
Yerty is a 5’5” tall white male who weighs about 130 pounds.
