Marcus Woodard
A man was arrested Sunday after allegedly raping a woman and assaulting another.
Marcus Woodard, 29, is charged with aggravated rape, aggravated assault and domestic assault.
Police arrived at a home on the 200 block of Tocoa Avenue in the Brainerd area. When police entered the home, a half-dressed woman was on her way out, according to an arrest report. Another topless woman came out of a back bedroom.
Then police saw Woodard go from one room to another while fixing his pants, the arrest report said. That’s when they took him into custody.
As the investigation continued, police learned that several people were at the home, and the two women were making conversation about mutual friends when Woodard and another man started to argue. Woodard allegedly was holding a handgun during the argument.
