Investigators have arrested a Cleveland man in connection to several storage unit thefts reported in Bradley County during November and December 2017, according to a news release.
Adam Russell Creighton, 40, faces criminal charges of 10 counts of burglary, two counts of vandalism and violation of probation.
Creighton admitted to cutting locks, gaining entry and taking several items from multiple storage units while another person of interest was being interviewed.
Creighton is also being considered as a suspect in an additional burglary of an Antiquities business currently being investigated by detectives, according to the release.
Many of the stolen items were located and seized by the Patrol and Criminal Investigations Divisions. The items were then matched with incident reports.
“I could not be more pleased with the work of our agency’s detectives and deputies,” Sheriff Eric Watson said in the release. “Solving these alarming number of storage unit thefts and returning residents’ property only compliments our employees’ dedication of public service to this community.”
