Big media ignores big Trump successes

We are being poisoned, polluted and suffocated by a heavy blanket of constant pessimism, criticism and slander that is being spewed at us by the mainstream media and Democrat leaders. It has reached a fever-pitch that has never before been witnessed in my lifetime.

It is not based upon rational thought, factual argument or common sense. Much of it is based on fabrication, distortion, exaggeration, insinuation and just plain flat-out propaganda, shared under the guise of “news.”

Most is directed at Donald Trump. Fortunately he pays little attention to this.

There is a monster positive story about President Trump’s success already in one key area.

This is the booming economy. This is benefiting every single American. Reports come out every week showing things getting better and better. Is the media covering this enormous, glowing and good-news story for America? Absolutely not! They ignore it, they spike it entirely or they undercover and downplay it continually. This alone proves they have become a totally corrupt institution. They can’t stand reporting any report that reflects positively on Donald Trump. This is obvious!

Trump completely unfit to lead this country

Placed in office by the Electoral College discounting three million votes against him, we have a president with no qualifications for the office, witnessed by Trump’s cabinet members and those working closest to him who have said demeaning things about him.

Trump has reversed himself on most issues and has brought this country to greater danger of war by substituting insults to our enemy for diplomacy. His attention span and failure to read are reported by those working with him. He has attacked our independent judiciary and tries to undermine the First Amendment.

Trump’s filthy racial remarks offending African countries and those with citizens of African descent were accompanied by his preference for immigrants from white, racially pure Norway. Trump either doesn’t know or care that immigrants coming from “huts” in Nigeria are better educated than those coming from any other country, whites included.

His foul mouth and tweets are narcissistic, irrational and often false, making the presidency a cult of personality.

Free Press editorial page shows misogyny in action

Last Monday’s editorial on the right side of the Opinion pages aimed yet another shot at Hillary Clinton (“Hillary could still become President “). Who can count the number of times Hillary has been bashed by this editor since her election defeat 14 months ago?

Practically every week her reputation has been denigrated in the right-hand editorial page or in the political cartoon, and sometimes both. This situation is not just a case of superfluously “beating a dead horse.” It’s about the Free Press’s editor and the Republican Party’s political agenda.

Bashing Hillary is an easy mark that diverts public attention from the outrages that flow daily from the White House and from Republican leaders in Congress. The word count limit for letters prohibits listing all the outrages, but let me point to one embedded in the aforementioned editorial. Besides Hillary, that editorial also bashed three other women – Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters and Toronto writer Kristen Pyszczyk.

Gratuitously bashing four women (no men) the day after hundreds of thousands of men and women joined in national and worldwide marches for women’s equality – this is misogyny in action as well as a decades-long Republican agenda.
