Richard Thomas DemerrittAuthorities have identified the two people involved in Monday night’s stabbing on Daisy Dallas Road, according to a Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office news release.
The suspect is Richard Thomas Demerritt and the victim is Christopher Teeters.
Demerritt has been charged with aggravated assault.
Deputies responded to the 8500 block of Daisy Dallas Road about 9:50 p.m. Monday and found Teeters suffering from stab injuries.
Teeters was transported to a local hospital for treatment and HCSO K-9 deputy Tynne, a Hanoverian Hound, found Demerritt in the woods.
