Edwin Hotel plans hiring fair next week
The Edwin Hotel near the Walnut Street Bridge in downtown Chattanooga is hosting a job fair next week to fill a variety of full-time and part-time positions in time for the property’s opening later this summer. Staff members are needed for both the hotel and the two on-site restaurants, with available positions in food & beverage, catering, guest services, housekeeping and more.
The boutique hotel plans the hiring fair from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Chattanooga Whiskey Riverfront Distillery at 890 Riverfront Parkway. The local whiskey distillery plans to supply special brands for the new rooftop bar being planned at the 90-room boutique hotel.
Developed and managed by Vision Hospitality Group, The Edwin Hotel will boast a locally-inspired ground floor restaurant entitled Whitebird, and Whiskey Thief rooftop bar, with indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the Tennessee River, as well as Provisions, a market featuring regional goods and snacks, and Ama spa. The hotel’s name celebrates Edwin Thatcher, who led the development of the iconic Walnut Street Bridge in 1891.
