Chattanooga police responded to a reported shooting in the 200 block of Walker Street Monday evening.
Upon arrival, police located the victim, Terrence Poe, 24, suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Poe and witnesses told police the shooting took place at 4400 Kemp Drive.
Poe says he was traveling in a vehicle on Kemp Drive when he noticed an unknown black male shooting at him. He says he drove to a location on Walker Street once he realized he was shot.
The witness was a passenger in the victim’s vehicle and was not injured.
Poe was taken to the hospital.
His condition is not known at this time.
