Chattanooga police arrest 6 men in prostitution sting

Six men were arrested in a reverse prostitution sting in the East Lake area on Wednesday, according to Chattanooga police.

Jhony Eddy, 18; Thomas Yarborough, 65; Thomas Mon, 48; Walfre Martinez, 35; William Harp, 67; and Dennis Terry, 64, are charges with patronizing prostitution, according to a news release. Harp is also charged with indecent exposure.

Patronizing prostitution is a class A misdemeanor. If convicted, the men could carry up to 11 months and 29 days in jail and/or fines up to $2,500.

According to Tennessee law, patronizing prostitution means to solicit or hire another person with the intent that the other person engage in prostitution. Entering or staying in a house of prostitution for the purpose of engaging in sexual activity is also considered patronizing prostitution.
