Tomorrow begins Halloween season – though, grocery stores have been selling bags of trick-or-treat candy since early September. And those candy companies are smart to get ahead of the game. According to NPR, Halloween candy is a multi-billion dollar market, and sales are steadily increasing every year. I must admit this surprises me in our ever-expanding health conscious world.
Personally, I refuse to buy the candy because I cannot be trusted to save it for the kids. Do you wish to skip the sugar this year? Here is a list of alternative treats to hand out this year, cool prizes for which the neighborhood children will (probably) not egg your home.
» Temporary tattoos
» Mini cereal boxes
» Hot chocolate packs
» Glider airplanes
» Bubbles
» LED light-up rings
