Our young people are good.

I am a widow, 83, but still like to mow my yard and plant flowers. As I was mowing, I hit a stump which caused my mower to shut down immediately. As I was trying to move it, three young men passed by, turned around and came back to help me. At that time, I didn’t get their names.

About two weeks later, they stopped by to check on me. They are students at Heritage High School in Ringgold. DeJay and Kyle Pumphrey and K’Yah Dollinger now call me Mama Merritt. Their parents have raised three fine young men I can call on if needed. Thank you.
