FACEBOOK COMMENT OF THE WEEK
Yesterday, we posted a link to our story (see above) about the new Panera eatery planned near Northgate Mall. Dozens of you commented and this is what we learned: While our followers are delighted that the new Panera will feature a drive-through, they have grown rather impatient that Chattanooga still has yet to open a Trader Joe’s.
Melanie Mahoney, perhaps most impassioned, wrote, “I don’t want to see anything but a Trader Joe’s. Literally everyone wants a Trader Joe’s here. And in East Brainerd. We would actually be thrilled to see multiple [Trader Joe’s] locations. I know it’s the company’s decision but good lord. Everyone writes in. There’s even a Facebook page to bring Trader Joe’s to Chattanooga. It’s maddening that this hasn’t happened yet.”
