Area sports notes: Jeremy Davidson named as new Bryan College soccer coach

Jeremy Davidson

Former Bryan College soccer standout Jeremy Davidson is returning to the program as head coach. Davidson, whose wife (the former Tracy Stone) also is a Bryan graduate and whose daughter is a freshman at the Dayton school, is coming from Albany, Georgia, and Sherwood Christian Academy, where he has served in a variety of roles since 2011 and where his soccer teams have won three state titles and been runners-up five times. "What an honor it is for me to be able to return to Bryan College as the head men's soccer coach," he said in a school release. "My wife and I are so excited to be back. This school has shaped so much of our lives over the past 25 years, we can't wait to get started and begin pouring back into the school and into the lives of these young men.
