The Obedience Club of Chattanooga has announced two upcoming classes: a K9 Nose Work seminar and an obedience and agility class.
Learn about and watch a live demonstration of canine nose training, the fastest-growing dog sport in the nation, from certified instructor Katheryn Woods on Sunday, March 3, from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. The session will be held at the Obedience Club of Chattanooga, 244 Lake City Drive in Flintstone, Georgia.
Using their keen sense of smell and natural ability to hunt, dogs can learn to search for a toy, treat or specific scent.
Cost is $25 per person. Do not bring your dog. Club members can sign up at occclub.org; nonmembers sign up by email at agility@chattanoogaobedienceclub.org.
The next session of obedience, rally and agility classes for puppies and dogs will begin Monday, March 4.
Sign up online at occclub.org or come to the orientation and open house on Sunday, March 3, between 2 and 3 p.m. A rally fun match will follow the orientation session.
