» Tuesday’s recap: Chattanooga’s losing streak reached 10 games with a doubleheader loss at Biloxi in which the visitors managed only five hits in 14 innings. The Lookouts (8-17 in the second half) were nearly no-hit in game one as Biloxi starter Trey Supak (10-4) was one out away before Jose Siri singled. Supak struck out nine and walked one in lowering his ERA to 2.15. Scott Moss (6-4) had a rare poor start for the Lookouts, going just 4 1/3 innings and allowing five runs on five hits while striking out seven. Cooper Hummel had three of the Shuckers’ 15 hits, including a leadoff home run in the second inning, while Bruce Caldwell had a pair of doubles and drove in three. A Gavin LaValley homer gave Chattanooga a 1-0 lead after two innings in game two, but the Shuckers (15-10) scored three runs in the third on consecutive doubles from Dillon Thomas, C.J. Hinojosa and Caldwell and added insurance in the sixth on Weston Wilson’s homer. Biloxi’s Bowdon Francis earned the pitching win, allowing a run on four hits in five innings, with Wyatt Strahan (0-2) getting the loss in his first start of the season.
