An 18-year-old man received an electrical shock while working on the roof of Pilgrim's Pride in downtown Chattanooga Wednesday, according to the Chattanooga Fire Department.

The man, who has not been identified, was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Witnesses at the business at 1591 Broad St. said that a crew was on the roof painting when it happened, a release states. While painting the side of the building, a live power line was struck.

This is a developing story.
