Then come to Sing It or Wing It to audition for “America’s Extreme Talent” on June 12 or June 19 between 2 and 8 p.m. either Wednesday.
AET is traveling across the country searching for a new crop of inspiring talent for its first national contest to be held in Miami. Judges will select 30 hopefuls for the contest, and America will vote on the winner.
There’s no fee to audition. Walk-ins are welcome at the open auditions. Everyone auditioning must complete an audition form and release, which can be found online at aetauditions.com. Bring the completed form with a photo of yourself.
The initial audition will take place in front of a screening panel of professionals, who will decide who goes through to the judges’ auditions. You must sing a cappella, and there will be no microphones in the audition rooms. Each audition is between one to two minutes in length, and the producer might ask for another song. Auditions will be videotaped.
