The Georgia Bulldogs continue to thrive in recruiting offensive linemen, as they have received a nonbinding commitment from four-star tackle prospect Joshua Braun of Live Oak, Florida.

Braun, a 6-foot-6, 335-pounder, picked Georgia over Florida and also had scholarship offers from Auburn, Florida State and South Carolina. He is scheduled to take his official visit to Athens this weekend.

Georgia offensive line coach Sam Pittman produced another celebratory video late Monday night on Twitter that concluded with a shout of "Yessirr!" Pittman's latest video included his English bulldog, Lucy.

"We're just sitting around and watching the NBA Finals, and everything is happening north of the border," Pittman said, "but the big news is happening in the South. Go Dawgs! Yessirr!"

Braun is the brother of Trey Braun, who signed with Georgia Tech in 2011 and played through 2015, and Parker Braun, an All-Atlantic Coast Conference guard the past two seasons for the Yellow Jackets who recently transferred to Texas.

Georgia has 12 commitments for the 2020 signing class, with its crop ranked fourth nationally by 247Sports.com behind Clemson, LSU and Alabama. Eight of Georgia's commitments are offensive or defensive linemen, with Braun joining five-star tackle Broderick Jones, four-star tackle Tate Ratledge and four-star guard Akinola Ogunbiyi across the offensive front.

Alcohol update

Bulldogs athletic director Greg McGarity announced Tuesday that the university will not implement a plan to sell alcoholic beverages in general seating areas of athletic venues for the 2019-20 academic year.

"After consideration of the many facets involved with the Southeastern Conference's revised alcohol policy, the Athletic Association has made the decision to maintain, at this time, the current UGA policy, which prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages in non-premium seating areas of our athletics facilities," McGarity said in a release. "However, we will conduct an annual review of this policy to determine if any modifications may be needed in the future."
