Man says he was shot during Wednesday morning bike ride on 10th Avenue

A 34-year-old man told police he was shot Wednesday morning while riding his bicycle, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.

The man said he had stopped at an intersection on the 4000 block of 10th Avenue when he was approached by a man who shot at him. Once he realized he'd been shot, he called a friend to give him a ride to a hospital, the release states.
