Well, it seems as though when they get re-elected, it’s time to look out. They will think “I’m safe, now I can raise taxes and they [voters] will forget by the next election.” I really thought that we had a big spender when the Board of Education choose Dr. Bryan Johnson, and am I ever right since we now have already raised taxes for education.

I have no children in school, but I am for children getting a good education. However, money doesn’t guarantee good education. The school system has too many in the central office. Let’s be sure we are getting our money’s worth from all employees. I suspect right now we are not.

County commissioners: You need to wake up and refuse any $34 million increase for education. I for one will certainly work hard to help defeat any commissioner who votes for this unjust, unneeded tax increase. I promise you, I won’t forget if you vote for it.
