Puckett’s Chattanooga will host songwriter J.P. Williams as part of the restaurant’s Hitmakers Series on Saturday, June 29. The series is presented by Puckett’s in partnership with Old Dominick Distillery. Puckett’s is located at 2 W. Aquarium Way.
Hitmakers puts the spotlight on writers behind No. 1 hits, and gives the audience the stories behind their favorite songs in a songwriters-in-the-round format.
Williams is a Chattanooga native and University of Tennessee at Chattanooga graduate who co-wrote “Best Shot,” the chart-topper that launched the career of country music artist Jimmie Allen.
Now based in Nashville, Williams has performed at The Grand Ole Opry, and writes under his own publishing company, Blonde Leading Blind Music.
Seating will begin at 7:30 p.m. before his show at 8:30 p.m.
There is a $12 cover. Guests can enjoy $8 Old Dominick cocktails during the Hitmakers show, and exclusive merchandise will be for sale.
Reservations are recommended; call 423-708-8505.
