Holocaust survivor Eva Kor is scheduled to give an inspirational talk Thursday, March 28, at Southern Adventist University, 4881 Taylor Circle in Collegedale.

During World War II, Kor and her twin sister, Miriam, were subjected to deadly experimentation by Josef Mengele at the Auschwitz concentration camp.

Both women suffered long-term effects, yet Kor chose to forgive those who caused her so much pain.

Her story has been featured in numerous ways, including the young-adult book "Surviving the Angel of Death: The True Story of a Mengele Twin in Auschwitz" and the award-winning film "Forgiving Dr. Mengele."

Her free presentation starts at 11 a.m. in the Iles PE Center.
