After rushing for 136 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday’s 35-34 overtime loss at Wofford, Ford received honorable mention for the STATS FCS national freshman of the week. Ford won the award a week ago after running for 200 yards in a win over East Tennessee State and has made the honorable-mention list three other times. He is second in the Southern Conference with 893 rushing yards and ninth overall in the FCS.
