Man injured in early Saturday shooting on Bradt Street

A man has been injured in a Saturday morning shooting in the 1500 block of Bradt St., according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.

Police found the 29-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound around 12:33 a.m. in the 2100 block of Camden Street.

Investigators spoke with witnesses who said the shooting occurred in front of a residence in the 1500 block of Bradt Street. The victim then fled on foot to Camden Street, the release states.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment for injuries not considered to be life-threatening.
