Three days. Three commitments for the Tennessee football program.

Julian Nixon became the Volunteers’ latest pledge for the 2021 recruiting cycle, committing Tuesday with a tweet that simply stated “1000% LOCKED IN!!” with three big orange emojis.

The 6-foot-3, 230-pound receiver from Roswell, Georgia, is a four-star prospect in the 247Sports.com composite rankings, which combine the ratings of 247Sports, Rivals.com and ESPN.com. He’s rated the No. 42 receiver in the country.

He chose the Vols over 13 other listed offers, including Ohio State and Southeastern Conference programs Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and South Carolina.

The Vols’ latest recruiting run started with five-star defensive end Dylan Brooks’s pledge on Sunday. Safety Kamar Wilcoxson followed Monday with his commitment and now Nixon. The trio has bumped Tennessee’s recruiting class to No. 5 in the country, according to 247.
