A woman has died in an early Saturday morning crash in the 4500 block of Norcross Road, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.
Police responded to the scene at around 12:10 a.m. and determined the woman was driving a Hyundai Sonata that was traveling north on Norcross Road. The vehicle drifted to the right, ran off the roadway and into a ditch, then struck a concrete culvert and flipped end over before coming to rest on its top.
The woman was declared dead at the scene by Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services, the release states.
