A gift that gives back
If you’re looking to support ‘local’ this holiday season, the Songbirds Foundation has a treasure trove of cool stuff that they’re auctioning off to raise money for the Guitars for Kids Program, which offers free music lessons in local schools. The auction features over 100 unique gift ideas, like a psychedelic fringe leather jacket, classic vinyl, vintage concert posters and tickets, state-of-the-art reel to reel machines and other funky gear – including a 2017 Gibson Les Paul Tribute HP Goldtop autographed by guitar legends Joe Bonamassa, Robben Ford, Eric Gales, Andy Timmons, Greg Koch, Mark Lettieri, Andy Wood and Joe Robinson. For every $100 raised, a child will receive a guitar, 12 weeks of free lessons and in-depth music therapy. The auction ends this Thursday at 8 p.m. Click here to shop.
