Police: Man injured in Conner Street shooting

A man is receiving treatment after he was shot in an early Saturday morning shooting, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.

Police responded to a person shot call in the 3200 block of Conner Street around 12:59 a.m. The 36-year-old victim told police he was shot by an unknown black man as he was leaving a residence. The victim was then transported to a local hospital for a gunshot wound that is considered not life-threatening, the release states.
