If you’re ready to take your consumer packaging business idea to the next level, Proof and CO.LAB have partnered to create a virtual Consumer Goods Accelerator, a 10-week program for early-stage companies, and has a new class ready to start later this month.

The deadline for applying for the free program is Wednesday and the classes will begin July 20.

Businesses who qualify for the classes should have tested their product on the market and demonstrated a complete proof of concept. Among the companies that might be best suited include pre-packaged beverage products, such as spirits, beer, and kombucha; pre-packaged food products; health and lifestyle products, established and scalable restaurant, brewery and distillery concepts; and agricultural products, such as creameries.

Launching such a business is tricky in normal times, but navigating during a pandemic is even trickier. The challenges vary greatly and include such things as “determining how to best protect your employees, mitigating risk of a shutdown, reworking your pro-forma, expanding into new verticals and distribution models, and that’s just to name a few.”

This year’s virtual Consumer Goods Accelerator will cover how to navigate these challenges and ultimately help build a path for success in the near and distant future.

Participants will work closely with our region’s robust network of industry mentors and corporate partners to find paths to success.
