Greetings, Chattanooga!
Growing up, my beloved toy was Pooch, a chocolate-brown, wallet-sized stuffed dog with a pink felt nose. A family friend won it from a claw machine. It was worth nothing and meant everything. If something had ever happened to Pooch – I would have been inconsolable.
I thought of my old friend this morning when reading this story about a young boy who lost his favorite stuffed toy at the airport, and how the effort to reunite them went viral.
And now, today’s top stories:
Can UV-C lighting help kill the coronavirus? TVA is aiding businesses in installing the virus-killing light technology.
Electricity and gas prices are getting cheaper for Chattanoogans.
