Alcohol.org, a resource for the treatment of alcohol use disorder, conducted a study of 3,300 workers who are currently working from home to find out when the typical worker starts drinking.
The average U.S. employee working at home has their first drink of the day at 4:36 p.m., but the typical Tennessean doesn’t start drinking until 6:54 p.m. – the latest of any state in the Southeast.
Drink times in the Southeast
1. Kentucky – 3:48 p.m.
2. Virginia – 4:54 p.m.
