Greetings, Chattanooga!
Have you noticed the number of yard signs around town lately? Some are political but the majority are for graduating high school seniors. The trend caused columnist Mark Kennedy to recently declare “yard signs the new Facebook.”
“Despite living smack in the middle of the digital age,” he wrote in his column, “signs – one of man’s oldest forms of communications – are having a golden moment.”
And now, today’s top stories:
Tennessee families are now eligible to receive financial support for their children’s nutritional needs during the pandemic.
The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Diversify Summit this Friday, highlighting the need for diversity and inclusion in business.
And, Chattanooga area businesses will get more than $5 million to help with damage caused by the April tornadoes.
