What (not) to do this weekend
Normally this space is dedicated to helping you get out and about, but the coronavirus has canceled basically everything. Here’s a list of events you should mark off your calendar.
On the plus side, the Metropolitan Opera in New York is offering free streams to help everyone pass the time and “provide some grand opera solace to opera lovers in these extraordinarily difficult times.” Each night for the duration of the closure (currently scheduled until March 31), you can watch daily encore presentations from the award-winning Live in HD series of cinema transmissions from 7:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. For the schedule, click here.
