Timing and Travel
On Sunday, President Trump extended social distancing guidelines and travel restrictions through at least April 30.
On April 1, Chatter’s new magazine comes out with a theme of, wait for it: travel.
I’ve never had great timing. It started at birth. I was born two weeks late, and while I’d like to continue blaming my poor timeliness tendency on my father (who was also characteristically late for my birth), I must now own it.
So, please forgive me for the ill-timed delivery of this Travel Issue.
Or is it?
The realities of the coronavirus could not have been predicted or even imagined when we planned this issue back in January. But things are changing minute by minute – and one thing that’s remained steadfast for me, no matter where I am in life, is the need for a diversion, whether real or imagined, fleeting or extended.
So, regardless of whether the destinations in this month’s magazine are a reality at this point, I hope they bring you some form of escape.
