Greetings, Chattanooga!
What will the holidays look like for you? Will you and your family gather around the warm glow of a computer screen for a virtual get together on Zoom, or will you decorate the family SUV as a would-be sled and drive by grandma’s house to either drop off or pick up a plate of turkey with all the trimmings? Or, will this year look like Thanksgivings and Christmases past? Here’s how some Chattanoogans are viewing the holidays during a pandemic.
Let’s get into a few recent stories:
Food City is looking to locate the first full-scale supermarket in downtown Chattanooga.
For the first time since it was built 53 years ago, the McMinn County Courthouse in Athens, Tennessee, is undergoing an exterior restoration of its most well-worn feature, its historic front steps.
And to understand Georgia’s flip in the 2020 presidential election, it’s necessary to understand who is voting compared to 20 years ago.
